A Standout In The Classroom, And On The Basketball
Court, Will Attend Chicago Simeon High School

Class of 2013 basketball star Jabari Parker of Robert A. Black, who excels both in the classroom, and on the basketball court will be attending Chicago Simeon High School next year. Parker ranks as one of the top Class of 2013 prospects in the country.
Parker, a 6'3" guard/forward, is a dazzling combination of size, versatility, basketball skill and intelligence.
The Chicago Simeon program has a deep basketball tradition recording IHSA Class AA state championships in 1984 under head coach Bob Hambric, and back-to-back state titles in 2007 and 2008 under the direction of head coach Robert Smith.
Chicago Simeon has a tremendous amount of young talent currently in the program that will be moving up to the varsity ranks next season. The sophomore team has a perfect record of 20-0 with 6'0" Darien Walker, 5'11" Jelani Neely, 6'4" Jeremiah Jackson, 6'4" Steve Taylor and 6'5" Rayshawn McLrath among the standouts.
Parker will be competing on the travel team circuit with the Mac Irvin Fire, and will play with both the 15-U and 17-U teams.
